PARK
Pennsylvania area unknown number of miles.
Take NJ Turnpike, go to Route 195 West to 95
South toward Philadelphia. When you get
closer to Philly look for Route 676 West.
Take that to Route 76 West to the exit of
Ridge Avenue. Make a right off the exit stay
in your right lane. You will see signs for
Ridge Avenue West. Follow on Ridge Avenue
West up the hill. Make a right on Levengton
Avenue; follow to the end. You then make a
left onto Henry Avenue. Follow for about 3
miles. You will see a Horse Ranch on your
right. At the second light after you have
passed the ranch, you will see the entrance
to Valley Green. Make a right and follow the
road down to the parking lot.

TOURNE PARK
New Jersey area miles 10.
Take Garden State Parkway North to Route 78
east exit at the Union toll plaza, that will
put you on 78 East, but you must take the
next exit and make a U-turn and take 78 West
(that is the only way to access 78 West)
then take 24 West to 287 North, take
Intervale Road (Exit 43), after exit make
left at stop sign then make a right at first
light, then after 2nd stop sign, stay to the
right and at the fork in the road, stay to
the left and go about one quarter mile, and
you'll see a sign for Tourne Park indicating
to turn left. Park in the gravel-like
lot.

CLAYTON PARK
New Jersey area miles 15.
Take Turnpike to exit 7A, Interstate 195
East to exit 11 (Imlaystown/Cox's Corner).
Eastbound: Turn right and follow to end.
Westbound: Turn left and follow to end. Turn
left onto Rt. 526 and make immediate right
onto Imlaystown-Davis Station Road. Follow
to Emily's Hill Road, turn left. Follow to
park on left. Rt. 537 west to Rt. 526 west,
turn right. Follow Rt. 526 (becomes Red
Valley Rd.) to Imlaystown-Davis Station Road
to Emily's Hill Rd., turn left. Follow to
park on left

HARTSHORNE WOODS PARK
Middletown area miles 10
Take Garden State Parkway to Exit 117B, then
take Route 36 South for approximately 15
miles until you see a "Y" in the
road (36 will continue to the left), you
will go to the right. That will be Navesink
Avenue. Go to the first stop sign, make a
left. Park will be on right side about a
quarter mile. Note: Rolling hills, nothing
extreme. Ideal for the first time
rider.

CHEESEQUAKE STATE PARK
Middlesex area miles 5.5.
Take Garden State Parkway South to Exit 120
(Cheesequake Exit). Then make left into
first commuter parking lot, then look for
opening or start of trail on the right side
of the road as your coming off the exit.
Note: Short but sweet, good single track.
Access the hiking trail and youre in for
a good time, great for night riding. (Oh
yeah, I guess I forgot to mention the hiking
trails are off limits to mountain
bikers.

ALLAIRE STATE PARK
Monmouth area miles 17
Take Garden State Parkway South to Exit 98.
Stay left and go to your first light and
make a right. Follow until road comes to a
"T", then make a right and go
about a quarter mile and make a left onto
Hospital Road. Go about 1 mile and you will
see part entrance on right side. Note:
Single track and lots of sand, if that's
what you like. But there is a 7-mile loop
that is very fast, but if youre not
familiar with the area it is hard to
find.

ALLAMUCHY STATE PARK
Deer Park Section Warren, area miles 14.5.
Take Route 80 West to Exit 19, at the end of
the ramp make a left. Then go about 3-4
miles until you see a pink restaurant (Velle
Matar), go past that and make a left onto
Deer Park Road. Note: All single track with
few little rocky sections. All trails are
off main fire roads.

TANTUM PARK
New Jersey area miles 10.
Take Garden State Parkway South to Exit 114,
(Middletown, Holmdel exit), go to the light
and make left. Proceed to the second light
and make a left onto Vanschoich Road. Then
make a right onto Holland Road. Park will be
on right side. Note: Rolling hills, nothing
too hard. Ideal for the first time
rider.

ALLAMUCHY STATE PARK (North Section)
North Section Sussex & Warren, area
miles 13.
Same as, Deer Park. Ask a rider on the
trail. Take Route 80 West to Exit 19. Then
make right at the end of exit ramp. Go about
½ mile, the road will start to bare to the
left and you will see a little grassy
parking area on the left and the trail start
on the right side of the road directly
across from the grassy parking area.

LEWIS MORRIS PARK
Morristown area miles 15.
Take Garden State Parkway North to Route 78
West, once on Route 78 get off on Route 24
North. Stay on 24 until the end and get on
Route 287 South until you see exit for
Morristown. Follow that straight through
town and the park is about 5-6 miles outside
of town on the left side. (You must first
get on 78 East in order to get over to 78
West. Note: Fast single track with some good
climbs. Find patriots path and your in for
some fun riding.

ROUND VALLEY RECREATION AREA
Hunterdon, area miles 15.
Take Route 78 West to Exit 20A, then make a
right on 22 West. Stay on Route 22 West for
about a ½ mile and follow signs for Round
Valley. Approx. 15 minutes west of
Somerville circle area. (Look for brown
State Park signs, they are not very
noticeable). Note: Good climbs if that what
you into. Some sections are rocky, and there
is a sweet technical downhill.

RINGWOOD STATE PARK
Passaic and Bergen race loop 7-1/2 miles,
area miles unknown.
Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 163
(17 North), continue on 17 North and get on
NY State Thruway to 87 and go to 15A (note
that after this exit there is a toll and you
have gone too far). After exit make left at
light and go about a half-mile until you see
signs for Ringwood/West Milford. Make a
right and follow that for about 4-5 miles
until you see entrance on left for Ringwood,
Skylands. Drive up and look for parking Lot
"C". That is where all trails
begin. For more information: Call Ringwood
State Park at 201/962-7031. If youre
interested in doing the race loop, follow
entrance directions. When you come to the
top of the hill where the two bird-like
statues are make a left and go down to the
parking lot where the lake is. Note:
Technical single track, with a fair amount
of rocks and roots. You will have to explore
to find the good stuff. You will also start
with a long gradual climb, and there will be
a lot of inter-connecting fire roads.

JIM THORPE
Pennsylvania area miles unlimited.
Take Route 80 West to Pennsylvania. Once in
PA take Exit 43 to Route 115 South then get
on Route 903 (don't worry about which way,
903 starts right there). Take 903 to the
town of Jim Thorpe or the first light, make
left at that light. Then go to next light
and make another left. Look for "Blue
Mountain Sports" on right side of the
street. Once on 903 the town of Jim Thorpe
is about 18 miles. "Blue Mountain
Sports" will have trail maps available
and daily shuttle rides to the mountain. All
that for a small fee of course. Call
1/717-325-4421. Note: Great single track
with rocky, technical areas, much of the
time.

MAHLON DICKERSON PARK
North Jersey area miles unlimited.
Take Garden State Parkway to Interstate 80
West to Exit for Route 15 North. Proceed on
Route 15 North to Weldon Road Exit, follow
Weldon Road approximately 4 miles East. The
reservation is on both sides of the road.
When you get to the park, pull into the
second parking lot. Park on the right side.
Note: Technical fire roads with some single
track. Good climbs with some fun down
hills.

PLATTEKILL SKI RESORT
New York area ski resort, multiple downhill
and cross country miles
Take Garden State Parkway North to New York
State Thruway (Kingston, Exit 19). Then Take
Route 28 West approximately 35 minutes to
the town of Arkville. Turn right at Crosby's
Farm Equipment just before the railroad
crossing, then go about 1 mile to the end of
Route 30, turn right onto Route 30 North. Go
approximately 5 minutes and look for signs
to turn left onto Cold Spring Road. Follow
signs to Plattekill. (It's about 4 miles off
Route 30). For more information call

aggressive rider seeking high speed,
technical race quality, extreme and vigorous
downhill and single track. A lot of

HIGH
POINT
New Jersey area miles 13.
Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 153
(Route 3 West) that will turn into 46 West,
stay on that until you see signs for 23
North, once on 23 North it should take you
about 45 minutes to get to High Point. The
park will be on the right side, but the
trails begin on the left side of the road.
There will be a parking lot available.
Always stay on 23 North because it could get
a little tricky, so keep your eye out for

entering the park.

STOKES STATE FOREST
Sussex area miles 31.
Take Garden State Parkway North to 280 West
until you see signs for Route 80. Once on 80
West take Exit 34 and get on Route 15 North,
then jump on Route 206 North until you see
Culvers Lake. Soon after you will see signs
for Stokes State Forest. Note: One work,
"Technical".

CHIMNEY ROCK
Bridgewater NJ, miles 13 in three loops.
Take Parkway North to Route 287. Take the
exit for Bound Brook & Route 28 East
(just east of Route 22 exit). Bear right off
exit, go to your second light. There will be
an Effingers Sporting Goods on the left.
Make a left onto Thompson Road. Follow this
road until it passes some apartments on
left. Follow road bearing left over Route
22. Once across Route 22, you will then come
to a stop sign. Make a left onto Chimney
Rock Road, (if you go right it will put you
on Route 22). Make the left and follow until
you pass a rock quarry. Bear to the right
and follow this road up the hill. The park
will be on the right.

Hwy 9 south from Freehold to Georgia Tavern
Rd. Use jug handle to turn left onto Georgia
Tavern Rd. Proceed on Georgia Tavern Rd for
0.3 miles. Turn right onto Windeler Rd.
Continue 1.5 miles to the Reservoir Area on

NESHAMINY, PENNSYLVANIA
Miles Unknown!
FROM ROUTE 1 NORTH: Pass the entrance for
the PA Turnpike (exit 28). Approximately 1
mile (immediately after the Penndel exit),
bear right onto the access road. Immediately
after the Langhorne Speed Shop, turn RIGHT
at the stop sign. Proceed under the overpass
(of Route 1) and make a LEFT at the stop
sign. The high school is on the right. Park
by the stadium. FROM ROUTE 1 SOUTH: There
are not many exits, so be careful. You will
go under the overpass of I 95 and pass the
exit for Maple Avenue. Approximately ¼
mile, note a large cemetery on the right.
Stay far right and bear off Route 1 to the
stop sign. You'll see the high school to the
left. Park by the stadium. It's tricky. If
you pass the Turnpike entrance on Route 1,
you've gone too far. FROM THE PA TURNPIKE:
Exit at 28 (Philadelphia/Neshaminy). Get on
Route 1 North. Approximately 1 mile
(immediately after the Penndel exit), bear
right onto the access road. Immediately
after the Langhorne Speed Shop, turn RIGHT
at the stop sign. Proceed under the overpass
(of Route 1) and make a LEFT at the stop
sign. The high school is on the right. Park
by the stadium.
Mountain Creek- Vernon, New Jersey

Jay Peak, Vermont

From the US, take I-91 to exit 26. Follow
signs to Jay Peak; this takes you north on
US 5, then north on VT. 14, southwest on
VT.100, north on VT. 101, and west on VT.

From the Mass Pike, I-90, take US 7 north 20
miles. Follow the signs 3 miles west to
Jiminy Peak. From the north, take US 7 for
10 miles south from Williamstown. Follow the
signs 3 miles to Jiminy Peak.
Killington, Vermont
Middletown area miles 50+
From I-91, take exit 6 and follow VT. 103
for 23 miles west to Ludlow. Two miles north
west of Ludlow, take VT. 100 for 14 miles
north to US 4. Take US 4 west for 4 miles
and, following the Killington signs, take
Killington road 5 miles south to the ski
area at the top of Killington road. from
Rutland, take US 4 for 13 miles east and go
right (south) on Killington road 5 miles to
the Killington ski area.
Mont-Sainte-Anne, Quebec

From quebec, take Autorout 40, which becomes
Highway 138. In Quebec City, take Highway
440 east for 10 km (6 miles). this road
becomes Highway 138 east, where you go for
25 km (15 miles) until you reach Highway
360. Take this road 3 km the access, to the
Parc Mont-Sainte-Anne.
Mont-Tremblant, Quebec
